My 1st Video creation!!

Here was my assignment for my FMS 200 class! I had to create a video about someone or something I'm passion about, so who better than my little sis' Hillary Moore! She is soo talented. 

My video is based off of her lyrics and how she has let God lead her way! She is such a inspiration as a singer and a performer!

Iowa Trip!

Better late than yet, right?!

Well, a couple of weekends ago I got to go visit my lovely sister Melissa and her husband Kreg and my cute niece Landrey! It was such a great weekend and I got to catch them up on my college experience!

Here we are going pass the state-line!
It was a long drive but well worth it!

We got there around 10p and by that time little Landrey was asleep so we all just sat around chit chatting about what was new with all of us.
The next day we got up and went to Landrey pool party for reading so such this summer. It was so much fun but the water was a little chilly yet after being in it for so long we all got use to it.

After that event was over we went back home and just hung-out. Later that evening we got to ride jack the horse that lives just outside their house. Then I got to meet Doc. Landrey's favorite horse! I haven't rode a horse in a long time but it was a BLAST! I will tell you this don't ever let go of the reins! haha I knew this but I couldn't help myself when Doc. decided to start trotting fast. But he's such a good horse he knew that it freaked me out so he went right to his master a friendly girl who takes good care of them. Sorry I forgot her name but she was really nice!

This is another young female horse! Very friendly and loves being petted!

Overall this was just what I needed. The fresh air of the country; its a great place to think! I personally am a city girl but every once in a while people need to take a step back from the craziness and rush of their lives and just breathe. Thanks Melissa and Kreg for the wonderful food and hospitality! 

ps Those chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and homemade carrot cake was the bomb Melissa!!

College Life!

Hey! Everyone....I know its been too long but I've finally just got into the swing of things here!

College Life is WONDERFUL, I'm having the best time here being out on my own!
I love my fellow riegerettes and I have made some pretty great friends outside of the house as well! I enjoy my classes for the some part, not too much homework yet... just LOTs of reading!! grrr I do have a essay due tomo. but I already got that done!

Anyways I left off with Hawk Week and I still have pics of the week left like my fav. night which was traditions night!! Got to see some awesome people like...

I am pretty mad about sat. night! grrr I mean both teams sucked it was just who could suck more and I guess we did!
I'm pretty sure I could of gone home to Newton to watch a better football game!

Soo there you have it my first week of college!!! Exciting I know! That weekend I did go home because yes, I missed my family and I did need some stuff for my room and since I have no car my parents had to come get me and take me back which I am soooooo very thankful for!!!!

Hawk Week

Hey Everyone!!

Finally, I know you all are on pins and needles to hear about my COLLEGE LIFE! But this is fair warning that this is gonna be LONG just because I know my family wants to hear and see all about my 1st week, so....here we go!

Dad and Me! Ok I know I look like a mess...

Here is the tradition in our family that we take a pic. of the packed college car! Which it was PACKED! But when you look @ my room pics I really could use some more stuff! :) 

Well we hit the road by 6:15a, but got up @ 4:30a!!!!! Really early for me (didnt even realize there was a 4:30 two times in the day! Who's with me! haha) Then we got there around 8:45a, the girls where there to greet us AND, bonus, help move our stuff up to my room!! I didn't have to lift a thing (I was filling out some paperwork tho.)! 

I got to my room it was a shock ( not good or bad just shocked!) I beat my roommate, so some other girls who had the room last year help me and my mom (of course, mom) arrange the room which I love and so did Brea, my roommate!! 

Brea is a great girl, she is a night owl just like me and really easy to get along with! She is also diabetic, which if you know me so is my sister Melissa so there is another thing that we have in common because I am use to living with a diabetic. It seems that we have a lot of things in common which is great!! So glad it worked out!
